Parlorly is a private home for your gatherings. The information you share here is in service of getting people to dinner — nothing else. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we don't.
What we collect
- Household member names, roles, and ages (including children).
- Dietary restrictions, allergies, severity (preference, restriction, allergy), and food preferences.
- Home addresses for events you host or attend.
- Email addresses for account login and event notifications.
- RSVP and event history.
- Stripe payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
What we do with it
Dietary and household information is used only to support the events you participate in. Home addresses for events are only visible to confirmed attendees, and only after their RSVP is confirmed.
We do not sell data. We do not run ads. The product is paid for by the people who use it.
Stripe processes payments. We receive subscription status, not payment details. Transactional email is delivered through our managed email infrastructure (Lovable Cloud); your address is used only for event-related communications and account messages. AI-generated event briefs are produced through Lovable AI Gateway using Google Gemini models — relevant event and dietary data is sent to generate menu suggestions, and is not retained by the model provider beyond the request.
Children's data
Children's profiles (names, ages, dietary info, allergy severity) are stored as household member records belonging to the adult who created the household. Only members of that household can view or edit them.
When a household RSVPs to an event, hosts see the names and ages of attending children and any allergies flagged at "allergy" severity, so they can plan safely. Other guests do not see children's names. Aggregated dietary information (for example, "one child with a nut allergy attending") may appear in event briefs shared with the host.
Parlorly is intended for use by adults coordinating gatherings on behalf of their household. Children do not create accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
How we protect it
- Row-level security on all data: you can only access your own household's data and the events you've been invited to.
- Full home addresses are stored separately from the public event record and are visible only to the host and to guests with a confirmed (yes) RSVP.
- Dietary and medical notes are visible only to members of the relevant household and to hosts of events that household has RSVP'd to.
- Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Lovable Cloud / Supabase) protected by standard transport encryption (TLS in transit) and the access controls of the underlying provider.
Your rights
You can delete your household and all associated data at any time from household settings. You can update or remove any dietary profile at any time. To request a copy or deletion of any other data we hold about you, write to privacy@parlorly.com.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, we'll let you know by email before it takes effect.
